📱 1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Adeux application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Softwai ("we", "our", "us").

📝 2. Description of the Service

Adeux is a mobile application designed for couples, allowing you to:

Share private messages and photos with your partner
Track your relationship milestones (days counter)
Manage shared events and calendar
Answer daily questions to strengthen your bond
Create time capsules for the future (Premium)
Share your location in real time
Track moods and manage a shared wishlist
Discover date ideas and build a bucket list together

👤 3. Eligibility and Account

Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental consent.

Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use

✅ 4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service responsibly and not to:

Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm another person
Share explicit, violent, or offensive content
Attempt to access another user's account
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Use automated systems or bots
Reverse engineer or decompile the application
Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes

Any violation of these rules may result in suspension or deletion of your account without notice.

📄 5. User Content

Your Rights

You retain all intellectual property rights to the content you create and share via the Service (messages, photos, etc.).

License Granted

By sharing content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display this content for the purpose of providing the Service.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you share. You warrant that:

You own or have the necessary rights to the content
The content does not infringe on the rights of third parties
The content complies with applicable laws

👫 6. Couple Feature

The Service allows linking two accounts via an invite code. By linking with a partner:

You consent to sharing your data (messages, photos, events) with this person
You can unlink at any time via couple settings
Unlinking does not automatically delete previously shared data

Only share your invite code with your trusted partner.

💎 7. Premium Subscription

Premium Features

The Premium subscription unlocks additional features such as time capsules, special questions, and extended limits.

Payment

Payments are processed through the App Store (Apple)
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
Prices are displayed in your local currency

Refunds

Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

🛡️ 8. Intellectual Property

The Adeux application, including its design, code, and content, is the exclusive property of Softwai.

You may not:

Copy or reproduce any part of the Service
Modify or create derivative works
Distribute, sell, or commercially exploit the Service

⚠️ 9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for:

Service interruptions or errors
Loss of data or content
Damages resulting from the use of the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

🚫 10. Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time via Profile > Settings > Delete Account.

By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account in the event of:

Violation of these terms of use
Fraudulent or abusive behavior
Prolonged inactivity (more than 12 months)

🔄 11. Changes

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via:

In-app notification
Email for significant changes

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

⚖️ 12. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

For users in the European Union, GDPR provisions apply in addition to these terms.
