Questions for Couples
More than 700 questions to really talk, play and get to know each other better. Pick the category that fits the moment you're in.
Good conversations don't always happen on their own. Over time, couples fall back on the same topics — work, plans for the week, what's for dinner — and stop discovering things about each other. A good question breaks that autopilot: it makes you stop, think, and actually listen.
We've organized 900+ questions for couples into 13 categories. You don't need to work through them all or in order — pick the one that matches your moment (a night of laughing, a real conversation, reconnecting physically, or finally talking about that thing you've been avoiding) and let each answer lead to the next one.

How to get the most out of them
Take turns and answer first. Before you hear your partner's answer, say yours out loud. That stops you shaping what you think to match what they said.
No judging. These questions only work if you both feel you can be honest without the answer being used against you later.
Go deeper. The question is just the starting point. The interesting part is almost always the "and why?" that follows.
Make it a habit. One question a day keeps the habit of talking about what matters, without waiting for a problem. The Adeux app sends both of you one every day and saves your answers.

What questions should I ask my partner?
It depends on what you want from the moment. To get to know each other better, choose deep questions or questions for new couples. For fun, go with funny questions or Never Have I Ever. To reconnect physically, spicy questions. To talk about things you've been avoiding, check-in or communication questions.
How do you play the couple questions game?
Pick a category, take turns reading a question out loud, and answer first before you hear your partner's answer. No judging the other person's answer. You can set a number (say 10 questions a night) or just let the conversation run.
When is a good time to ask these questions?
The best moments are relaxed and distraction-free: dinner at home, a long drive, a walk, or lying on the couch. Avoid asking them in the middle of an argument or when one of you is tired or stressed.
Are these questions good for a first date?
Yes. The questions for new couples and funny questions categories are made for exactly that: breaking the ice and getting to know each other without it feeling like an interview. Save the deep or intimate questions for later.
Can I get a couple question every day?
Yes. The Adeux app sends both of you a new couple question every day, saves your answers and lets you compare them. It's free on iPhone.
Do these questions work if we've been together for years?
Especially. Once routine sets in, we assume we already know everything about our partner, and it's rarely true. Deep questions, communication questions and check-in questions are the ones that surprise long-term couples the most.
