Time capsules
Time capsules are a Premium feature that lets you write a message meant to be read in the future. It's like burying an emotional treasure that you'll discover together later!
Access capsules
- Open the Discover tab.
- Find the Time Capsules section.
- Tap to view your existing capsules or create a new one.
Create a capsule
- Tap the New capsule button.
- Write your message — express your feelings, share a memory, or write a love letter.
- Add photos if you wish to capture the moment.
- Choose the opening date — it must be a date in the future.
- Confirm the creation of your capsule.
Wait for the opening
Once created, the capsule is locked. Nobody can open it before the chosen date, not even you! When the day arrives:
- You receive a notification letting you know the capsule is ready.
- Open it together to rediscover what you had written.
- Relive the emotions from that past moment.
Ideas for using capsules
- Couple anniversary — Write a capsule a year in advance for your next anniversary.
- New Year — Share your couple resolutions to open the following year.
- Special dates — Prepare a surprise for your partner's birthday.
- Tough times — Remind yourselves why you love each other, to read in moments of doubt.
Important points
- The capsule cannot be opened early — that's the whole point!
- You can create as many capsules as you want with Premium.
- Photos added are also locked until the opening date.
- This feature is reserved for Premium subscribers.
