Mood tracking

Mood tracking lets you share your emotional state with your partner in a single gesture. It's a simple way to stay connected, even when words aren't enough.

Access mood tracking

  1. Open the Discover tab.
  2. Find the Mood section on the hub.
  3. Tap to access the tracking screen.

Log your mood

  1. Choose the emoji that matches your current state:
    • 😄 Very happy — You're on top of the world!
    • 🙂 Happy — Things are going well.
    • 😐 Neutral — Neither good nor bad.
    • 😔 Sad — A tough day.
    • 😢 Very sad — You need some support.
  2. Add an optional note for context (for example: "Rough day at work" or "So excited to see you tonight").
  3. Confirm your mood.

See your partner's mood

Once your partner has logged their mood, you can see it directly on the mood screen. It's a great indicator for knowing how to approach the conversation.

Mood history

Check the history to see how both your moods have evolved over time. This can help you:

  • Identify trends in your well-being.
  • Spot more difficult periods.
  • Celebrate moments of shared happiness.

Tips for using mood tracking well

  • Log your mood every day, ideally at the same time.
  • Be honest — it's a safe space between the two of you.
  • Use notes to help your partner better understand your day.
  • If your partner is feeling sad, send them a supportive message!
