Voice messages in Adeux

Sometimes a written message isn't enough. Voice messages let you share your voice, emotions, and tone with your partner. It's an intimate and quick way to communicate.

How to record a voice message

1. Open the Chat tab from the navigation bar.
2. Find the microphone icon 🎙️ to the right of the text field.
3. Press and hold the microphone icon to start recording.
4. Speak normally while the duration counter is displayed.
5. Release the button to automatically send the message.

Cancel a recording

Made a mistake or changed your mind? No worries:

• Swipe left while holding the button to cancel the recording.
• A red indicator appears to confirm the cancellation.
• The message will not be sent.

Listen before sending

To listen to your message before sending it:

• Briefly tap the microphone icon to enter locked mode.
• Record your message, then tap Stop.
• Use the Play button to listen back.
• Tap Send if you're happy with it, or the trash can to delete.

Tips for great voice messages

• Choose a quiet environment for clear sound.
• Hold the phone about 15-20 cm from your mouth.
• Keep your messages short and spontaneous for more impact.
• Use voice messages to say good night, thinking of you, or to share a moment from your day.
