Location sharing

Location sharing lets you see where your partner is on a real-time map. This feature is designed with privacy as a priority: you always keep full control.

Enable sharing

1. Open the Us 💕 tab.
2. Tap the Location section or the map icon 🗺️.
3. Tap Enable sharing.
4. Allow location access when iOS prompts you.

Choose the duration

Sharing is never permanent. Choose a duration that fits:

• 1 hour: For a short trip or a quick errand.
• 4 hours: For an evening out.
• 8 hours: For a work day (default duration).
• 24 hours: For a trip or a full day.

When the chosen duration ends, sharing stops automatically. No action needed on your part.

See your partner on the map

When your partner is sharing their location:

• Their position appears on the map with their avatar.
• The location updates in real time.
• You can zoom and navigate the map normally.

High precision mode

Enable GPS mode for a more accurate location:

• Useful when you need to meet at a specific place.
• Uses slightly more battery.
• Disable it when standard accuracy is enough.

Privacy and control

• Pause: Pause sharing at any time without disabling it.
• Disable: Stop sharing completely and instantly.
• Automatic expiry: Sharing always stops after the chosen duration.
• Battery optimization: Updates happen every 60 seconds with a 50-meter distance filter to preserve your battery.
